UPGRADE INFORMATION - DECEMBER 2010

Selection of SET UP A LEAGUE FILE now gives the option to set up a normal "MATCHPLAY" type league

or a "FIELD" type league.

With a FIELD type league all teams meet at intervals (i.e. weekly, monthly etc.) and play a set number of games.

Overall pinfall decides position and thus points gained. 

Version 3.77 caters for many variations of this system.

TEAM RECORD and RESULTS SUMMARY now show all points gained, including Head to Head points.

RULES setup includes options:

HEAD TO HEAD POINTS? (0, 1 or 2)

And

HEAD TO HEAD POINTS CALCULATED AUTOMATICALLY? (Y/N)

If no head to head just set zero.

 However, if you are using head to head then check the points setting. The new system will default to 1 if your rules previously just read “Y”.  If you are using 2 go the CHANGE RULES and correct it.

 If you set Head to Head to automatic then, when entering scores, you will not see the Head to Head “boxes’ until you have clicked on FINISHED when the points will be calculated and displayed.

However you can, at that stage, change the points if the figures do not tally with your rules.

i.e. the system assumes points for games and series. You may not have this. Adjust as necessary.

Also the system has to assume that the playing order is correct.

The scores which contributed to the head to head points are displayed on the screen in a larger font.
